The Skinny

First things first, my name is C.C. and I live with anxiety.  And I have a love for coffee.

As you would assume the two do not mix... ever.

Being a full time college student and working full time means I drink coffee regularly, but most of the time I end up paying the price not too long after.

I have almost gotten my caffeine intake down to a science:


  • What I can drink,
  • What I can't drink,
  • When to drink it,
  • When not to drink it,
  • etc.

I am constantly learning (and relearning) this the hard way. Drinking certain types of espresso drinks or differently brewed coffee only to end up with the shakes, my heart beating out of my chest, and my lungs forgetting what rhythm was.

Openly writing about my anxiety has the potential to help me through my own struggles with day to day anxiety.

The icing on the cake: helping anyone else through theirs. 

Sometimes just knowing that someone else goes through the same painful motions lightens the weight on ourselves.
